Julia Clancey's Spring 2009 collection features designs that are both very Greecian and very beachy but with a spring palate.  All the trends seen throughout LA Fashion week are seen in this show: flowy, earthy pieces; orange-colored pieces and ruffled, layered pieces.

But in keeping with her off-beat sense of fashion, Clancey's ruffles aren't traditional ruffles, rather, they're scale-like ruffles that layer the entire piece, as seen in a couple of her dresses and skirts.
